Last year's Summer School took place in Panormo, Crete, July 1^st-6^th 2012. The Summer School introduced participants to key-concepts and uses of digital resources, while also engaging them in practical activities based on the exploitation and enrichment of the “Natural Europe” (http://www.education.natural-europe.eu/natural_europe) and the “Discover the Cosmos” (http://portal.discoverthecosmos.eu) repositories.
Eighty one (81) European educators participated as trainees, attending 15 hours of lectures and demonstrations and 10 hours of hands-on workshops, that dealt with the areas:  the inquiry based educational approach, and the connection between formal and informal learning through museum visits.
